Reto Pulfer (1981, Bern (CH)) lives and works in Berlin. His work moves at the intersection of performance and architectural space. Reto Pulfer constructs environments with various materials including painted cloth and paper, which he installs so as to question the geography of the exhibition space. Each of Pulfer’s exhibition is shaped by an underlying narrative, or as the artist calls it “mnemonic”.
For Dehydrierte Landschaft, Pulfer presents an installation consisting of a coloured hemp thread splitting the exhibition space. Wall hangings made of torn textiles, reassembled, sewn and painted, representing symbol, plans and other systems will decorate the main room.
